Could I make a request? Anything early by Psygnosis, please--particularly the 'Shadow of the Beast' covers. Absolutely iconic boxes in the days of the Amiga and Atari ST.

I always liked the Dark Chronicle artwork. I know there's better out there, but I'm tired. Great site idea and I look forwards to whatever else you've got up your sleeve.

It's an obvious suggestion, but buying Chrono Trigger DS recently reminded my just how great the box art for that game is. Not only is Akira Toriyama's artwork is bold and exciting, but the same art style carried over into the game itself (unlike most games at the time.) Furthermore, it also effectively shows off the game's tech system by displaying two characters attacking in tandem.

Really like this idea and look forward to seeing lots of cool box art from yesteryear. It'd be great to keep the mix of amusing (The Great Ghiana Sisters) and the serious (Final Fantasy 3), too.

As a little sidenote: I've created a 'Box Art' widget for Netvibes, which shows the latest 10 thumbnails from the RSS feed on your Netvibes dashboard. Here's the link, for anyone who'd like to add it to their Netvibes account:

I love the Ico cover art. Also Roger Dean's prog rock style Psygnosis covers and Simon Bisley's Gods cover are ones that stick in my memory.

I think the Secret of Mana box art would be a great one to use. On the newer side of box art i think the UK box art for Persona 3 FES was beautiful.
